Avionics System Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Improvement and development of the drone avionics, including electrical wiring, sensors, avionics box, battery and power management
- Creating technical drawings, wiring diagrams, specifications, configurations, settings
- Testing of components and sub-systems, focus electrical components and systems
- Support testing of the complete drone system
- Root cause problem solving
- Technical documentation
- Electrical assembly of components and systems for testing
- Managing avionics component and avionics system suppliers
- Taking over system design responsibility.
Profile
- Solid technical education, e.g. apprenticeship as aircraft electronic technician / Higher education optional, e.g. in electrical engineering, avionics engineering, systems engineering
- Relevant working experience in the avionics and electronics field
- Having worked under EASA Part 66 B2 License is a plus
- Experience in one of the major CAD programs for electronics
- Experience in electrical design, manufacturing, assembly and testing
- Experience of working in a high quality and safety requirements environment, e.g., aviation, automotive, pharmaceuticals, medical devices or similar
- Experience in software integration, configuration, programming or software development skills are a plus
- Fluent in English, German is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft office suite
- Can-do attitude / High degree of flexibility and working in a dynamic and growing company
