Responsibilities

  • Leading a Global Team: You’ll be responsible for leading a team of Grid Code Test Engineers, both functionally and partly disciplinarily.
  • Grid Code Compliance Testing: Your team will perform, evaluate, and document Grid Code compliance tests, analyzing test data.
  • Sales and Project Support: You’ll support Grid Code compliance and Grid connection during sales and project phases.
  • Understanding Nordex Products: Deeply understanding Nordex products is crucial for rating Grid Code compliance.
  • Process Optimization: You’ll optimize processes within Grid Code compliance and contribute to internal product specifications.
  • Client Communication: Regularly communicate with clients’ experts for project-specific testing and solutions.
  • Windfarm Controller Experience: Gain experience in windfarm controller projects.

Profile

  • Education: You should have a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent technical education.
  • Leadership Experience: First experience in leading a team of engineers is valuable.
  • Grid Code Testing: Familiarity with Grid Code Testing for Wind Farm projects, including test cases.
  • Power Plant Level Knowledge: Good understanding of Grid Code compliance at the power plant level and relevant software.
  • Data Analysis and Automation: Experience with data analysis tools and automation.
  • Collaboration Skills: Thrive on collaborative work across functions and geographies.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in spoken and written English; Spanish and/or German is a plus.Communication and Organizational Skills: Strong communication, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to Travel: Be prepared for occasional business trips (5-10%).
