Responsibilities
- Product development of multiple large and complex containerized solutions projects (projects can be customer projects, design order projects, sales projects or NTI / NPI)
- Design and develop mechanical systems, components and products like cooling water pumps, mounting technology for engines, frames for engines and accessories, mounting assemblies
- Conduct research to solve engineering problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Create technical documentation for designs and processes
- Test and evaluate theoretical designs
Profile
- Project experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering, preferably in the reciprocating engine and/or containerized product solution industries
- Profound knowledge of mechanical design and engineering principles
- Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g. Catiav5, Plant 3D)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Good understanding of system integration; ability to derive product, system, and subsystem requirements from customer specifications
- Ability to present key information and engage in business-led discussions with management
