Microsoft Windows Senior System Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Planning, engineering and operation of complex IT infrastructures and business applications (Windows, Microsoft Azure): Design it, implement it, run it
- Responsibility for dedicated Hyper-V environments, as well as engineering the next generation solution
- Further development of Automation solutions with PowerShell (Infrastructure as Code)
- Supporting the implementation and management of security measures and contributing expertise to challenging problems.
- Ensuring system availability, performance optimization and regular maintenance of the IT infrastructure.
- Working closely with internal and external partners to solve complex technical problems
Profile
- Degree in computer science (university, ETH or FH) or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience as a system engineer, ideally in a similar position
- Very good knowledge in the administration of Windows servers and Microsoft Azure
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, initiative, independent and proactive work
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified (Azure, Core Infrastructure) are an advantage
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and a proactive way of working
- Good writing and speaking skills in English and German
- Willing to work on-call
