Principal SiC Design & Simulation Expert (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Optimization of SiC power technologies and development of new SiC products, in alignment with relevant departments
- Design test chips and process/device monitor structures for process control and simulate DOE short loops
- Simulation with TCAD to predict the variation of the device electrical characteristics
- Troubleshoot layout design issues and apply proactive intervention by working closely with the design team
- Contribute to the development of new SiC concepts and translate them into novel layout and process solutions
- Analyzing SiC power technology and trends
- Coordination with relevant departments
Profile
- Extensive Experience in SiC design
- Familiarity with SiC power devices testing and characterization
- Extensive Know how about the inner workings of SiC power devices
- Experience with TCAD (Silvaco, Synopsys) and layout (e.g. KLayout, Layout Editor)
- Fluent in english
- Willingness to travel /work on site
