Senior Operations Lead (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Lead establishing an operations team comprised
- Establish and master processes for incident, problem, and change management within the DOE Product Line in close collaboration with the Operations team of the EDP program
- Oversee, and proactively manage dependencies together with architects, product management and delivery to minimize operational impact
- Collaborate and validate with the Delivery Manager the readiness phase of products, prior operationalization within the DOE product area
- Collaborate with QA team members, implement and enforce quality assurance measures to ensure the high quality of delivered products and services
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and skill development within the DOE delivery teams
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks that may impact service quality, ensuring smooth operations
Profile
- Experience with productive applications or systems ideally containerized and distributed
- Experience with operations of various CI/CD and DOE products e.g. Jira, Confluence, Gitlab, Artifact Store, Image Registry, ArgoCD, Backstage.io
- Experience with automation and infrastructure as code and gitOps
- Experience with the usage of observability tools
- Experience in agile and scaled agile development
- Management Experience of operations and technical support teams
- Monitoring and directing Change Control
- (Pro)Actively taking care of Incident Management
- Administrating Problem Management
- Taking care of Monitor and Event Management
- Advanced understanding of Service Level Management
- Having experience in adequate Service Request Handling
- Knowledge about Shift-Left approach and establishing processes that works towards that
- Team player skills: cross team collaboration
