Senior RF Engineer (m/w/d) (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Define and develop cutting-edge RF/mmWave packaging solutions with a focus on optimizing performance across frequency and bandwidth.
- Act as the technical interface between research and product lines, driving the feasibility, design, and optimization of RF components and modules.
- Oversee the entire design-to-manufacturing process, from concept development to prototype evaluation, considering electrical, thermal, and mechanical aspects in close cooperation with respective experts.
- Investigate emerging RF/mmWave technologies, identify packaging needs, and propose innovative solutions to close technology gaps.
- Leverage your expertise to support international teams in specifying and evaluating systems, while also assisting in product and application engineering, including troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with European research institutes and technology suppliers to ensure rapid technology transfer to products.
- Find new solutions, explore technology, and adapt interesting solutions from other industries
Profile
- Master/Diploma degree in Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, Physics or equivalent at University / University of Applied Science
- More than 5 years of experience with RF/mmW electronic devices
- Experience in design, development and integration of RF/mmW components or modules
- Proven skills with 3D EM simulators (CST, HFSS or equivalent) and circuit design tools (ADS, AWR, Altium or equivalent)
- Open to cooperate and participate in cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, German and/or Chinese is a plus
- Ability to cooperate effectively and participate in in multicultural & interdisciplinary teams
