Software Developer App & Platform Management (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Enhance the existing prototype Python tool, making it more robust and production-ready
- Develop a user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) to improve user interaction and accessibility
- Expand the tool's features, including the implementation of structural or homology information to enable more efficient protein engineering
Profile
- University degree in bioinformatics, medical informatics, computer science or comparable qualifications
- Proficiency in Python programming, with a focus on tool development and maintenance
- Experience in developing graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for software applications
- Ability to generate and manipulate DNA sequences and work with CSV file formats for data output
- Strong understanding of bioinformatics, particularly in protein engineering and DNA applications
- Experience in developing production-grade software would be desirable
- Familiarity with integrating software tools with laboratory equipment, such as cloning robots would be desirable
- EXperience with version control systems, such as GitHub would be desirable
