Für die Anstellung als Bauabrechner oder Bauabrechnerin sind eine Ausbildung auf dem Bau oder ein Studium des Bauwesens erforderlich. Eine regelrechte Ausbildung zum Abrechner gibt es nicht, vielmehr werden Weiterbildungen angeboten. Praktische Erfahrungen im Bauwesen sind ein Muss.
