Statiker – Grundlagen schaffen für gelungene Bauwerke

Statiker spielen wortwörtlich eine tragende Rolle beim Bau von Gebäuden. Dabei berechnet der Tragwerksplaner die Statik von Gebäuden, Ingenieurbauwerken und anderen baulichen Anlagen. Die Bauexperten ermitteln beispielsweise, wie stark Wände und Decken eines Hauses sein müssen. Statiker kommen bei Neubauten und bei Umbauten von Bestandsbauwerken zum Einsatz.

Welche Chancen bestehen für Statiker auf dem Arbeitsmarkt?

Statiker haben gute Chancen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt. Die Anzahl der sozialversicherungspflichtigen Beschäftigten ist deutschlandweit in den letzten Jahren kontinuierlich angestiegen. Statiker finden eine Arbeit im Baugewerbe, in Ingenieurbüros, aber auch im Dienstleistungssektor. Rund 15 Prozent der Ingenieure sind bei der öffentlichen Verwaltung eingestellt. Als Statiker können Sie sich mit einem Planungsbüro selbstständig machen.

Welche Aufgaben und Tätigkeitsfelder bieten sich dem Statiker?

Statiker übernehmen eine Vielzahl von Aufgaben. Sie führen die statische Berechnung aus und ermitteln die Stärke von Wänden und Decken sowie die Kosten eines Gebäudes. Außerdem erstellt der Tragwerksplaner den nach dem Bauordnungsrecht erforderlichen Standsicherheitsnachweis.

  • Tragwerksplanung beim Umbau von Bestandsbauten
  • Anfertigung von Gutachten über die Stabilität von Gebäuden, zum Beispiel nach einer Naturkatastrophe
  • Erstellung eines Konstruktionsentwurfs
  • Beratung von Bauherrn, Architekten und Bauingenieuren hinsichtlich der Baustatik
  • Überwachung der Arbeit auf der Baustelle

Welche Hard Skills und Soft Skills sollte ein Statiker mitbringen?

Der Beruf des Statikers setzt in der Regel ein Studium voraus. Zur Wahl stehen ein Bachelorstudium Architektur oder eines im Bauingenieurswesen. Auch ein duales Studium, das durch Ausbildung im Betrieb ergänzt wird, ist möglich. Zu den Kernkompetenzen des Statikers zählen Baukonstruktion, Baustatik, Baustoffkunde und Bautechnologie. Außerdem sind komplexe Berechnungen ein Haupttätigkeitsfeld, das entsprechende Routine erfordert. Ergänzend sind Fachkenntnisse in Bauinformatik, Betriebswirtschaft und Geologie erforderlich. Zudem sollten Sie sich im Bau- und Architektenrecht auskennen.

Zu den Soft Skills zählen ein hohes Maß an Kommunikationsfähigkeit und die Kompetenz, Kunden ausführlich zu beraten und fachkundig zu betreuen.

Statiker werden meist nach Tarif bezahlt. Berufseinsteiger können mit einem Jahresgehalt von rund 45.000 Euro rechnen. Mit zwei Jahren Berufserfahrung sind es durchschnittlich 55.000 Euro. In gehobener Position ist der Verdienst besser. So erhalten Bereichsleiter ein durchschnittliches Jahressalär von 78.600 Euro.
