Alexander Heise began his career in 2004 in key account management and continued his career in various management positions at Hays in the following years. In 2012, he was promoted to Managing Director. In July 2021, the business graduate was appointed to the Hays Executive Board as Chief Strategic Client Officer (CSCO) with overall responsibility for strategic clients in the EMEA region.
Alex Heise has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hays and the entire CEMEA region (Continental Europe, Middle East and Africa) as of 1 September 2023. In this role, he is responsible for Germany, the world's strongest business, as well as the regional business of the CEMEA countries.
Markus Auer

After starting his career in 1996 at the Bilfinger construction group and a stint as commercial division manager at the industrial services provider Pöyry, Markus Auer became Chief Financial Officer of the Lahmeyer Group, which specialises in planning and consulting services, in 2011.
In July 2016, the Master of Business Administration was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Hays. In addition to finance, he is also responsible for the service sector and the further development of our organisation.
Imke Mahner

Imke Mahner worked at Accenture for almost ten years as Senior Manager – Talent & Organization before joining Avis Budget Group as Director Human Resources in 2017.
After two years as Vice President Organizational Development at Avis, the organizational psychology graduate moved to Hays as Head of People & Culture and has since been responsible for the entire department.
Ivonne Gassmann

Ivonne Gassmann began her career as an Account Manager at Hays in 2001. After helping to build up the sales organisation in various roles and responsibilities, she had been responsible for one of the seven sales Business Units since April 2020. She has also played a key role in driving the company's development in recent years by leading various corporate projects.
Johannes Becker

After gaining six years of experience as a Senior Consultant at the management consultancy EY, Joe Becker joined Hays in 2006 with the task of setting up the new Finance Contracting division. It was here that he discovered his passion for sales and leadership.
Most recently, he headed the largest Business Unit "Corporate Functions and Financial Services", where he was responsible for 600 employees and a turnover of 500 million euros.
