  WHAT DOES A LABORATORY WORKER EARN?

The salary of laboratory workers varies depending on the region, experience, level of education and area of responsibility. The average full-time laboratory worker earns between 30,000 and 50,000 euros gross per year. In managerial positions, the annual gross salary rises to up to 90,000 euros.

In addition, there are differences depending on the specialisation. Medical-technical laboratory assistants (MTLA) receive a different salary than biological-technical assistants (BTA).
