According to the Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs, the number of schoolchildren at general education schools will increase by 9% nationwide by the school year 2030/2031.
For the lower secondary level, an increase of more than 15% is even expected.
The need for teachers is increasing.
By 2025/2026, a nationwide shortage of 799,000 teachers is forecast.
