Senior Cloud Architect for premium automotive manufacturer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Project Oversight - Steer the infrastructure setup project, ensuring alignment between development teams in China and Europe
- Cloud Architecture - Design and implement multi-region cloud solutions, with a strong preference for AWS, but open to other cloud providers suitable for China
- Technical Coordination - Collaborate with multiple vendors and stakeholders, including System Architects, Product Owners, and service providers like AWS and GitLab
- System Design - Develop and manage self-hosted sharded setups using GitLab and global setups with Artifactory
- Data and Load Distribution - Design strategies for distributing data and load across regions to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Vendor Management - Coordinate with various vendors to ensure project requirements are met and timelines are adhered to
Profile
- Cloud Services Expertise - Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and architecture
- Knowledge of other cloud providers advantageous
- Multi-Region Setups - Proven experience in designing and managing multi-region cloud setups
- Technical Knowledge - Strong understanding of GitLab for self-hosted sharded setups and Artifactory for global setups
- Project Management - Strong project management skills with the ability to organize and coordinate people and parts involved in the project
- Stakeholder Coordination - Ability to work effectively with System Architects, Product Owners, and vendors
