About the company

Our client is a well established investment firm that focuses on one client, a single-family office based in the heart of Hamburg. They are looking for an additional member for the emerging operations team at the earliest possible date to start.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to various stakeholders (performance, management and risk reporting, etc.)
  • Continuous development of reporting (KPIs, automation, design, etc.)
  • Ensure data consistency and derive insights from data analysis for the investment team
  • Develop and implement a data quality and validation framework
  • Reconciliation of cash, valuation and performance data
  • Assist with the development of our tool landscape and automate all reporting processes
  • Point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (e.g. fund managers, brokers, auditors, etc.)

Profile

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in finance, economics or any other discipline
  • In-depth relevant professional experience, preferably in an investment company, bank, family office, asset manager, custodian bank or auditing firm
  • Attention to detail, passion for accuracy and strong reliability
  • Expertise in setting up and developing reportings and a passion for deep-dive analysis
  • Team-work and excellent communication skills
  • Hands-on mentality, ability to work under pressure, analytical skills and intrinsic motivation
  • Verbal and written fluency in German and English language
  • Proficiency in MS Office Tools
  • Affinity for IT applications and experience in programming and visualization tools is a further plus
