Responsibilities
- Thermal Simulation for the characterization and development of power modules on package, board and system level using FEM and CFD
- Generation of simulation and compact models for end customers in Ansys Icepak and Simcenter Flotherm
- Calculation and optimization of system-level cooling solutions for customer products
Profile
- A degree in Mechanical / Electronics / Aerospace Engineering, Physics or a similar field
- Professional experience in thermal FEM/ CFD simulations
- Very good experience with tools such as Ansys Mechanical / Icepak / CFX or Fluent, Simcenter Flotherm / FLOEFD
- Knowledge in creating and modifying 3D CAD geometries for simulation
- Ideally experience in simulation of semiconductor or microelectronic devices
